Holy Week: Bad Tidings of Good Friday

Too often the events surrounding the death of Jesus on Good Friday are only superficially acknowledged by believers. Unless we examine that day internalizing the magnitude and enormity of all Jesus suffered prior to his death, can we truly appreciate the victory of eternal life he won for us?
